Hello all, my name is ElementGuy and I am new to this site. Im saying hello from Adelaide and I was just wondering about some things.

    Questions:

    1. I have been looking on this site for some time and i don't understand how people buy this here without it going on ebay. Can anybody tell me how this works.

    2. I have a modded Element EX-6 and I have removed the AR's and drilled out the plunger cap. I am planning to replace the spring with a C-836 bunnings spring and I was wondering if I would need to renforce anything?

    Any help would apprecieated

Hey! Welcome to onzerf! you are lucky because you are in the nerf Capital of Australia.. well that's what some people call it anyway. To purchase items here use tend to use a payment system called paypal, although you are too young to use it, you will be able to ask your parents for help. This same form of payment is majority used on ebay as well.

For your element, you don't really need to reinforce anything except the catch spring (by replacing it) and then possibly gluing on the plunger head to the plunger rod with epoxy.

I Hope your stay is good here and don't forget to read the RULES!

You'll probably want to as some cushioning to the forward face of the plunger head. You'll find this helps reduce impact stress on the gun over time. The air restrictors in a gun are the mechanism nerf uses to prevent impact damage. When you take them out, the plunger tends to impact the internals with excess force, which eventually damages the mechanism. I recommend craft foam or any firm foam available in a sheet. It needs to be soft enough to absorb the impact, but solid enough that it doesn't just squash with no effect.

I too say welcome to Oznerf and to the Adelaide nerfing community. We are one of the larger and active community's here in Australia and you are in good hands when it comes to looking for some fun with foam and the modding of the blasters that make it all happen.

We all hope to see you at a war some time soon, even if you don't think that you have the "fire power" to attend, I say that you should try to attend one just to get an idea of how we roll.I attended my first war with a mavric and a poorly made homemade NF, but still had a ball and was hooked from that moment.

Hope to see you out there soon and good luck with any modding that you embark apon.

    Gooni.
