Jerseys/T-Shirts

I'm ordering some T-shirts to have the Foam Sports label on it for the guys up here in Queensland so we can get all the bystanders and passers especially at the nearby uni's.

I've got a few designs in mind but am interested to see what you guys can come up with.




Below is the official logo, of the site launching soon.

I think we should make them sharp and sporty and they also need to reflect team colours for team games, so I'm thinking some stripes or curves coloured with team colours would be great!

Add your opinion here, don't be a dead shit and post crap, I simply don't have the time to put up with it.

The shirts will cost around 15-16 Dollars, and I'll be getting the highest quality and durability I can with that money, any profits will be put into future hosting of the website.

You need to resize the image man, it's half off my screen and theres no horizontal scroll bar.

so, uh, what does the white circle with green inside it have to do with 'foam sports'?

Looks like a very, uh, environmentally friendly logo.

Needs a dart on the logo.
Otherwise it just won't make sence

I like the team colour idea. However, more designs = more cost so maybe you could look at one design with provision for a coloured strip or patch to be stuck on with Velcro or something. It will also make changing teams around a lot easier.

I'm going at quality and ease of use, so nothing will be attaching to the shirts, unless someone comes up with an idea to do it well.

As for the target, it's simple, I am getting a version done with a dart on it but I think it may just make it complex or look shitty. For those not noticing it is a target.

Hey, I think the shirts/jersey's are a great idea.

As for the velcro, it's pretty simple/cost effective to get it added, and doesn't look shitty.
Also, I'm pretty sure you can buy it as an iron-on, so people could do it individually.

You cold have a plain green and blue 4B or this as well.



Both could be improved in quality as well.

Yes I agree, and I know Tasmania's white it was a mistake this is only a "Beta" version I could put a longshot if you want. But I dislike doing Ls's because its harder to get white background ls's without the front barrel. I think they are daggy with the front gun. But I could do it.

Nope it's going to be a combination of both.

1. Tournaments with stock blasters
2. Tournaments with 'improved' blasters (modification is probably a bad term to use because some people thing 'pin-headed' darts) 100ft LIMIT. I don't think the use of singled air blasters are allowed.
3. Community Events - However you want to run it, stock or modified, it's up to you.

We should start using the word 'blaster' instead of nerf 'gun' too. You probably noticed, but Nerf use to call them guns, but have changed their wording to blasters to make it sound 'less violent'. As most people associated guns with death, killing and violence.

I don't really think we need a 'blaster' on the shirt. I think we should have something like "Foam Sports" logo on there. And on the back of the shirt have a WHOLE arsenal of commonly used Nerf / Buzzbee / Airzone blasters on the back. Kind of like walking in an 'educational' way - this is what you can get to play with.

Have you guys seen the front cover of "The Expendables" I have once seen a version of that with nerf blasters. But here is an image I allegedly "borrwed" from google images.

Could work. However, that would be infringement of copyright and therefore inf0rm3r would get sued lolz. (i.e. N-Strike Logo).

I realise that, haha but if myself or preferably someone else could create something like that without the N-strike logo it could work.

Just photoshop out the N-Strike logo(s)

On the subject of IP law, it might not just be the logo, look up registered designs. Not sure if Nerf has registered the designs of any of their blasters or exactly how relevant it'll be for images on shirts, but it's another issue to consider if you're going down that path.

You could always turn it into soccer guersey material ?? Or both you could order differant styles.
I imagine the soccer guersey material would cost more, but it depends how each person persperates whether they get the t-shirt or the gueresy. Just throwing it out there.

these materials come with a price tag, ya know.

Anyway I'd make it something more cool looking, like a Longshot or Vulcan for all the n00bz who don't know

Possibly, I think a simple NF or Maverick would do the trick. I just liked the BBBB

Or maybe with that BBBB at the back of the shirt and the 'foam sports australia' at the front.. That'll look awsome.

Oh I actually like that. Maybe we should try to steer clear from Nerf Blasters, but it's like impossible ! :(.

It's only a Nerf blaster if you think it is - Call it Nerf 'inspired' since I was putting it together in the past 25 mins.

Haha it kind of reminds me of Nerf Streamlines VS Sili Tipped Darts.

I'm diggin sd_type's design. Gets the point accross really well

recolored the orange dart one, needed a little more contrast
obviously the bullets go behind to so if someone approaches from behind they know what team the person is on.

Lol - an Ausbow is technically and illegal Nerf Blaster.

SD Type, that bullet design is great! We would just have to make them look like the blue foam darts and tips as it would breech copyright to use anything which closely resembles the Nerf Brand.

I'm going to add to this one as the darts can simple be changed colour to resemble teams.

Also could we add the Name of our city to the back? I'd look awesome.

So i'd show Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin (is anyone there plays nerf?), Hobart, Perth and such.
