I got this gun for my birthday back in March. Before, I had researched it a fair bit and there was a lot of positive results and comments about it so I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.

Again, this was another pretty straight forward gun but felt a lot more "meaty" and less flimsy compared to other weapons. There wasn't many moving parts on the outside either, which is awesome because that helps with stealth.

When I first shot this weapon straight out of the box, its range and accuracy was crazy. After a while, it reduced but not by much at all. With new bullets, it shoots like a dream but with older bullets it isn't very accurate and the range differs greatly.
I added the Recon's stock for more stability and I recommend doing so if you have one. It's mobility is great, it is shorter than the recon which makes it all the better.
There is one thing that makes this awesome gun stand out from the rest. It is the fact that it has not jammed on me once, even till this very day. Another thing is it's ability to 'Slam Fire', this helps in Close Quarter Combat' situations. You can hail down nerf hell on your enemies as fast as you can shoot it.

    Results people.
Accuracy: 8.9/10 - I have gotten many headshots off my little bro while he was jumping around.
Range: 8.5/10 - Great range straight out of the box, better when AR is removed. Best used with new darts.
Mobility: 89/10 - Great mobility, better than the raider and the recon.
ROF: 8.5/10 - As fast as you can!
Reloading: 9/10 - Almost couldn't be easier. Just finding the darts sucks.

OVERALL: 9/10 - Overall, this gun is nerfing awesome. You MUST get this gun, just add a pinpoint sight and a recon stock, and you are ready to rock.

    - Experience may differ depending on whether you bought a dud or not. Not all guns are the same.

Once Again Grimreaper a great review.

I don't own an Alpha trooper so I can't add much, but it is on my to buy list.

However I know that the Alpha Trooper is the much much better alternative to the raider which I own.

The raider is good however the Alpha Trooper beats it in every way

My dad owns a Raider, it's fun to use but isn't great when it comes to a shoot out between him and I.

EDIT: You must go get an Alpha Trooper, they are between $20 - $30 at Target..
