Wait, are we competing over who is the geekiest?

lol - I'm 31, collect comics, build lego, build scale models and Warhammer, Play D&D - Vampire - Werewolf - Bubblegrum Crisis etc, NERF - profoundly beaten!!

All those things plus about 4 other tabletop wargames, board games, GURPS and I own quite a few computers.

    While clearly I'm a massive geek I don't think I'm socially awkward.

I'm glad you posted this up SS 'cos if you didn't I was going to :p

Some of you should definately apply though, I'd actually watch if one of us got on.

I ride motorbikes, drink beer, go clubbing... and have an overly large nerf collection. Am I nerdy enough?

Yeah I nerf, study 3 hrs a day (school days) and play the guitar.
    I think I'm a nerd.

I find it funny that when the term 'geek' is brought up people have to immediately tell everyone how much they are into sports and clubbing. No amount of sports and clubbing will change the fact that you modify and play with toy guns :p

That's why I went the other direction and only emphasise on the geeky bits of me, because most people would try to neutralise this "geek" hobby with something more blokey, but end up soundly more like self-denial. Most people here a pretty "normal", who just happen to enjoy messing around with toy guns.

Haha, unfortunately if you ever met Jacko1120. You would NEVER expect him to be interested in Nerfing.

Just like if you met FA24 or K9turrent in real life and never knew who they were, they don't look like Nerfers.

This is true of a number of people really. SS doesn't look like someone you'd expect to be into nerf. And As Tony put it I'm cowboy Jesus.
