    Tactical Flashlights Empty Tactical Flashlights

    Post  clunk07 Sat May 28, 2011 2:23 am

Hi guys, once again, this is another sales thread, due to some interest in tactical flashlights. I've had them on my sales thread, and had heaps of inquiries, so I thought I'd put a bit of information up.

CREE LED's are the latest torch technology. They're not exactly new, but have been relatively unheard of for a fair while. The bulb technology is similar to that of normal LED torches, but are alot brighter, due to the fact they use rechargeable Lithium ion batteries.

These batteries are generally protected, to prevent over-charging and overdischarge, and range in price pending quality. They also require a specific charger. The torches I use require 14500 and 18650 batteries, and all torches only use one battery for power. Some of the bulbs are multi-mode, which allow for full power, half power, low power, strobe and SOS.

This is only a brief overview, but should be enough to answer most questions. I have the following for sale, if anyone is interested:

    • 2 x AW brand Li-ion 18650 batteries - $20 ea

    • 8 x Trustfire Li-ion Protected 14500 batteries - $3 ea

    • 5 x Ultrafire WF-139 multi-purpose chargers - $20 ea

    Pics below of torches etc.

    Cheers,

Hi clunk, just a headup that the prices on DealExtreme are cheaper than what you are offering here. For example:

Ultrafire tactical flashlight remote switch - $5.32

    Trustfire Li-ion 18650 batteries - Two for $8

    Trustfire Li-ion Protected 14500 batteries - Two for $5

    Ultrafire WF-139 multi-purpose chargers - <$12

And they all include free shipping. Just to let you know that's all.

Well, that's not what I paid for them, and if people wish to wait for 6 weeks for order's to come from dx, then that's their choice.

Given the fact that 1/3 of the Li-ion batteries I've purchased from DX won't charge above 3.7v, I'll continue to source my products from elsewhere.

I've had 2 of the WF-139's from DX short-out and catch on fire, so that's another risk I'll let people take if they so wish.
