I have enabled the feature for members to report posts that breech the rules of OzNerf. This does not allow you to backseat moderate any thread, regardless of whose thread it is. If you do report a post or thread, please put a short explanation to why you believe that the post or thread in question should have actions taken against it.

This will compensate for any time period that there is no administrator currently online. It is to alert an administrator of something that they may have missed.

Do not abuse the function or you may find that either myself or another member of the administration team will take some means that you will not particularly like.

We will clean up the posts in question, issue strikes, lock or delete the topic in question.

Do not post replies to moderate the thread after reporting any posts, this will make you look like a joke trying to moderate their topic.

If you have any question please post them below.

To accompany this maybe an update on the rules would be good?

There appears to be a few new rules that haven't been added to the list.

Out of curiosity, what's up with the "Lock post for new reports" button? If that means no new reports can be made for that post, is that meant to be more of a mod/admin function?

There's something that has really been bothering me with some of you people using the report system: If you happen to see a mod or admin attend to an issue, there's no need for anyone to click on the report button as it increases redundancy. Use your common sense before you think about pressing that report button.

Also, I don't appreciate people making reports about pointing out grammar, spelling, or punctuation infractions when the reports themselves are lacking the necessary post quality. Seriously, who are you guys to judge?
