    Praxis Jam Empty Praxis Jam

    Post  ApoKalyptiK x Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:59 am

Alrighty. I bought a praxis, fired it literally once then it jammed. I found out it was because the mag was not going in far enough to snag the catch to allow the priming bar to be pulled back. I confirmed this by applying force to the mag to push it in and it seemed to work fine. Regardless I got it exchanged for a new one. I fired a few rounds off and now no matter what the priming bar is locked in the forward position. I tried the previously mentioned method of applying force to the mag but it did not work.

I have yet to open it up, but I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the advice, but I think all that's happened to it is that it's locked in a forward, unprimed state. Stupid locks. I'll open it up later and see if removing the locks / just simply opening it up will fix it.

EDIT: Just opened it up and found what it was caught on. Cheers.
