How to do a typical maxed out stampede? Empty How to do a typical maxed out stampede?

    Hi guys.

I see the term "maxed out stampede" being thrown around occasionally but unsure of what it means?

I am interested in getting the most range from my stampede without going brass breech (for the moment).

From what i can gather, it's the usual voltage upgrade, spring, o-ring/seal and ar removal. Is there something else i'm missing?

I'm keen to hear all tweaks, even small pedantic ones.

Lastly, does anyone know if making the barrel shorter or even porting it increases range?

    Thanks for the help.

It's a term thrown around at the moment since it could mean two things now.

    1. Black Tactical + Stock Spring, O ring replacement, re-greased plunger tube should get you 30metres angled shoulder height

Then now since there's a new thing.

    2. SgNerf's Stampede Breech.

I'm still working on my breech though since I've been aiming for it to feed streamlines.

Yeh, like Littlebro said, there's not a great deal involved in "maxing out" a Stampede without going in to breeches. I do pretty much what he's listed, as well as bypassing the front two inter-locks, as I find that sometimes they give me issues after modding. A lot of people have had a cry about the possibility of jamming their finger in the breech (removing a jammed dart etc) with those inter-locks removed, but there's a big orange switch that isolates the entire electrical circuit...

    Cheers,

Thanks for the replies guy, that's cleared it up for me.

I will play around with barrel porting/shortening/removing myself and see where that takes me.

    Cheers.

I am also in the works of modding a stampede.

So far removed AR, removed some safeties (left the on / off switch but can also by pass when its apart for testing), OMW 6k+ spring on order and added a 11.1v lipo, probably going to throw the 14.8v lipo in there tonight.

Keen to see what else is required for better power, range and accuracy. I will be using stock streamline darts unless there is a better option for now.
