Hi guys, so I've decided to join as it is pretty awesome to find a website that I can be a nerf lover on
I have 2 just recently modded, a Maverick and a Recon. Both have had the AR removal mod done and I plan to do the "russian Roulette"mod to the Maverick soon. Only one issue, I've stripped the heads for the screws in the Maverick and still don't where to buy replacements :P. Once I figure out how I'll post a pic of my guns.

I also have a longstrike in shipping that I just bought a couple days ago too...

Welcome aboard mate, make good use of the mods directory as there are heaps of useful contributions on there and feel free to ask any questions you have that aren't mentioned on the guides - we are happy to help

Also a word of advice for your recon, try to reinforce the plunger tube now that you've removed the AR, it can potentially break especially if you replace the spring.

Yeah, have a look around on how to re-enforce it. I've heard it's as simple as epoxy-ing a 10c coin (or same size washer) to the back of the plunger tube.

    Welcome to Oznerf Forums Mate!

For your stripped screw problem; i use a small flat head screw driver to take them out. Then i replace them with similar screws from my nerf Screw cup.

    Hope that helps.

Unfortunately for me, I don't have a cup of nerf screws lying around. Just got back from the hobby shop. They didn't have what I need. Seems trying to find screws are a bit of a mission.

Which screw is missing? It normally doesnt matter if you lose a few screws as long as the shell doesnt flex or rattle. My longshot is held by about 6-7 screws out of about 15-20 LOL
