Re: Longstrike CS-6
Why does everyone assume i am psyched about shit. When i found out that the longshot was coming to aus and posted FACTS not unproven speculations. I have thoughts about the longstrike but by no means have i said "the longshot is awesome wahoo i am so excited it is definitely coming to oz in spring yay" i am not a retard. Nor am i freaking out positively or negatively. taking something personally on the net is stupid i know but i dont want this crap happening to me TWICE!

Re: Longstrike CS-6
Measuring three feet long, the Nerf N-Stike Longstrike CS-6 Blaster is the longest NERF blaster yet and fires up to 35 feet.
Umm, isn't this kinda what they boasted about the Longshot or something?
Is this Hasbro attempting to compensate for something? (lol)
Will this continue until NERF blasters reach a ridiculous unwieldy length?
Will this continue after NERF blasters reach a ridiculous unwieldy length?

Re: Longstrike CS-6
Just got mine in the mail. Initial impressions;
-Sound's so weak when fired (I almost cried) albeit with a very smooth reload prime.
-Trigger grip/handle is a tad umcomfortable for someone with large hands.
-Has a short stock which feels very cramped when firing from the shoulder.

Yeah, I called it. I knew it wouldn't be too good. They'll sell like mad though, just because they look like a "OMG 5N1P3R!!!11".
Rant ended, Krayt, is there any room for mods that you can see??

Re: Longstrike CS-6
Just opened him up, I could see room for a spring intergration/replacement. Mabye even a small powerstock. The spring is stopped by a ring about 5cm from the end of the housing which also guides the plunger through the motions. Filing out the stopper in this ring would be part of a spring replacement/intergration.
This gun sounds so much better with the air restrictor drilled out.
For those of you who have modded the Recon/Raider (same internals) I will tell you this - there is not enough space once the spring has compressed to do the electrical tape mod. Doing so would add only about 5mm to the spring compression MAX! - hardly enough to see a performance boost in my opinion.

Re: Longstrike CS-6
Props for getting one so fast! you'll have to bring it to an Adelaide war so we can check it out
from all the internals I've seen I think power stock may be the only way to get a significant range increase... but lots of room down the front for an integration or shotgun style handle

Re: Longstrike CS-6
For those of you who like random/anal tidbits of info, I give you this; while gazing upon the "longstrike" just now I noticed that the name printed on the piece was the "Long Strike Cs-6" (notice the space between "Long" and "Strike") where as all printed media, even the box, have it named as the Longstrike.
Q: Relevence?
A: Nothing, just me being anal.

Haha. It's the cheapest and it is still a complete rip off .Personaly I am waiting till it becomes below 45-50 dollars, this gun seems over the top.Just a tip for everyone else, why buy the gun when it first comes out, wait for a good deal, you dont have to import it just to be the first person to recive one

The Longstrike looks like the SV98 Snaiperskaya. (It's Russian.)
