OzNerf App

They should make a IPod/IPhone App for OzNerf I would Buy it for $1.19

And who's going to make it?

ok this is mildly annoying.....why is it necessary to make an entirely new thread on you wishing there was an app this would serve a tine bit of use of you were asking people to plan to make an app and even get someone to make it, but your not your just wasting space on the forum by wishing about something that isn't even necessary. i mean you want an app so you go on your ipod or whatever and visit oznerf, i know this is a hard concept to grasp but safari is actually a wed browser and you cant go on oznerf from there. this is a topic you would bring up as an interesting topic maybe in the chatbox but unless your gonna make the app thats pointless anyway then why bother wasting your time writing stuff like this

An admin or someone you just have to download xcode but its mac software its quiet easy.

Dude what would the oznerf app do? Shit all... these forums are extremely basic you wouldn't even NEED an app for it. You can just pop on any phone and use an internet browser on your phone.

defensive is definatly the wrong word you could of used you implied that i got defensive over you making a "useless concept" as littlebro said would mean i would of had to make the concept or own ozerf.......fortunately the first option doesn't apply and unfortunately the second doesnt either.

Just to finish my point I posted this reply via iPod touch it's really easy as the iPod automatically rearranges the site to fit well on the screen

Whats wrong with using the internet on your iphone/ipod touch?

Go to safari on your iphone, go to oznerf, hit the + at the bottom of the browser - select "add to home screen"

and we're done

lol, dload xcode its easy. Then just learn objective-C while you are at it. I don't even know if this forum has an API you can use to actually make an app that would parse the forum data, most of that stuff is protected so bots cant do the same thing.

Either way looking at a billion hours of work for something you can already do.

Yeah stupid but what if we make a game to get more people interested in nerf so the ausnerf app were you shoot things or something i wont be able to do it but it is just an opinion.

Personally i think you should give your iphone a swim, try going swimming with it that should work perfectly. Apps are only good for the writer of them, if thousands of people download and use them, they wont make anything from it if only a few people download it.

Its manly for publicity look up nerf in the app store and there is nothing.

Maybe the admin’s should contact ABC or hell even 7, 9 or ten to enquire about an Oznerf TV series. It could touch on Nerf blaster availability, modification guides detailing how to use screwdrivers and tips and hints on how to hold every blaster correctly. They could even wear Christmas hats in the upcoming “Christmas special”. In addition the admin’s should also produce a new radio station to broad cast posts as they are made on oznerf.com.

ANYWAY..., the radio station is a bad idea, considering how sometimes there are no posts on OzNerf for a while, and the language of some members. Not saying that everybody swears, but saying "shit" on the radio is unacceptable.

But I like the idea about the TV show! Remember, we could sometimes have a special guest... hint hint

The day Nerfing becomes a legitimate sport in Australia is the day I start shooting annoying kids in the name of fun'n'games.

IE: Let's do eet! I guess filming Nerf wars would be a good idea too, 'ey? Action Replays/etc. I'd definitely be up for a project like this.

Maybe channel 31 would work better? I don't know about other states/capitals, but here in Melb we've got the 'community' TV station chnl 31 where this could work best.

Also saying 'shit' on the radio just depends on which radio station your on.
