I decided to check out Castle Hill Toys R' Us, and I stumbled upon this

    Nerf Atomizer 16032010

Just by looking at it, it's not impressive, I'd be shocked if it went 20 feet. It's a glorified slingshot, but wow what a rare glorified slingshot. It sure looks old, it was the last one in the shelves and the cardboard is old as you can see in its edges. I checked the back and it's from 2004.

I'm wondering if any of you guys have seen this before?

You think so? The box looks like it's rotting with the edges torn out

It's a novelty item. I think the value would increase for the avid collector.

Seconding little bro, here. I work in an Antiques and Collectibles store, and this is exactly the kind of item that ends up selling ridiculously high in about 5-25 years. Box = Bucks. Even if it's a rotting flimsy box.

Yeh, have to agree about the box.

I'm an avid retro (80's) lego collector, and you can pretty much double the price if it has the original box.

Mwuahaha, I totally match all those except military, steel and weapon restoration, and replace those with scuba diving, bee keeping, sky diving and home explosive experimentation. Latest discovery: Don't mix aluminium/iron oxide powder with ice.

Uhh... so the first two would make thermite, but what's up with the ice? Only thing I can think of is if you put it in a sealed container, ice -> water -> steam and blow up the container.

All signs of a mis-spent youth mate. Plus, there's not much to do in the bush, so you have to make your own fun...

Put it this way, when I was 16, there were a number of letter boxes that gave up their life for our entertainment!!

Martial Arts, being plural, I've studied a number of them over the years, settling on my own form of free-style, used predominantly for fitness. (major influences of BJJ, TKD, ZDK and Muay Thai).
