My First Custom Longshot Empty My First Custom Longshot

Post  Robert Poole Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:16 am

So I decided to open my fist custom Longshot project to opinions. I got it for free from someone who had tried to mod it and failed so he gave me the bits I rebuilt it into this.

    Here are the modifications:
    - pump action mod (made from fore-grip parts)
    - Firestrike main spring
    - scope converted to tac-light
    - air-restrictor removed
    - air hole plugged
    - plunger dead space filled
    - plunger head padded
    - locks removed
    - extra hole for shoulder stock adjustment
    - bayonet (made from toy sword)
    - hand-guard (made from same toy sword)
    - "Armed" light (turns on when blaster is cocked)
    - paint job (silver on matte black)

It was in poor condition when I got it, all the darts were stored in the clip for a while so they were useless now and the blaster was left in a corner somewhere while cocked and now the spring was compressed. But, a little time and love can pay off

Great aesthetics! I would recommend getting a spring slightly better than the Firestrike stock spring - most people put 10kg or more worth of spring in their LS's to make use of that massive plunger volume. Other than that, all looks really solid. Keep it up!
