Everyone meet Persuader mk1.



Its my earlier water gun conversion taken to another level. I've included a breech



and a RFR stock.

Also, I rifled the barrel.





Accuracy is amazing, the darts fly so flat its scary, with no wobble in flight at all.
Next is to add a tac rail from my destroyed mav, and hopefully get one of those reflex sights.

I made a tool out of wooden dowel, a piece of coat hanger wire, and hotglue.


I Drew it through the barrel while turning it.

So this is the persuader, ay? I'm not sure if it would be aloud at the war but its a bitchin' gun! Whats the ROF like? The distance is sweet. If your lucky well have a Free-for-all match where you can use any gun you like. That will most likely be at the end. Do you know any places we could have the war?

Im liking the addition of a round holder down near the stock.

Whats that colour? It almost looks like Panorama(Walkinshaw) blue, in that pic...

All in all, A very tidy job. Good work.

Cheers all, I think. The Persuader has had a change, instead of one air tank, it is now fed by 4, in series. Thinking about a longer barrel, and I've decreased the firing chamber volume by a fair bit. I get more shots from a tank this way, as the previous chamber volume meant my ideal barrel length was about 3 metres. All that wasted air... Anyways, using FBR as a sabot, this baby is now punching 1/4" steel bbs through my wheelie bin at 50m.

Yeah man, i highly recommend not bringing that bad boy to the war, if your still going, that is. But thats amazing power. I can't believe it. (I do believe it but its hard!) Awesome work 5/5, 10/10 A+ and a pretty gold star.

I hold a class C longarms licence anyway. (Semi-Automatic Shoulder fired longarms)

This is the latest Persuader update, bigger tank, tac rail, tank will have to be in a bag of some sort.... These things I can work out later. The main thing is it works!

so with the bigger tanks are you getting more range or just more shots per full tank?

And blackops, I fill it with either a bike pump or 12v car air compressor.
I know I know, don't wanna lug around a compressor at wars, but if I run out of air, I'll just own with my quadruple-banded poly barrelled nf.

Plus I don't think anyone is gonna let me use it at a war anyway.

I'd love to have a duel with something equal however.

How does the laser treat you? i can use the already present reticle on my titan (mmmm intriguing that nerf would put that there) and hey its actually acurate.

Oh very nice!, That sounds idea for the sniper round in wars! Have you thought about making a clip for it? maybe like coops bbbb clip fired? You should really think about it.

I'm still toying with clip ideas, I don't want to decrease range with an RSCB, and an inline clip with this much air per shot will just spray. At the moment I kind of enjoy loading every shot individually, taking my time.

hey i just thought of a clip idea which really isnt a clip.
My idea is a permanent clip area opposite a breach the clip would work like a CS clip with a platform with a spring underneath is and would would be loaded by opening the breach and placing the darts in, similar to loading a CS clip except that it is attached to the barrel and darts are loaded through the barrel. You then have a bolt sled which engages the top dart like any clip fed nerf gun. You could make the "clip" as high a capacity as you need (25 0r more) and you would be able to top it up at any time simple slide back the bolt sled and pop them in.

Thats a great idea, I might use that...

Not really, but its not like I have to rush. I'll just sort of stand there and dare people to come within range lol. Snipers hide and wait, I'll use this thing in a rush. Thats the only reason its got such a short barrel, so I can move it around fairly quickly to get it on target.

As for the laser question, WV17, Its a bitch to aim, sort of just get used to it. The laser is useless, looks good though.

it Wouldn't be very nice to be hit by that beast within 80ft, most people would come out crying! lol..and that clip has already been made have a look at it Here i think that's what you mean?, but nice try

hahahaha my titan is express built for firing when people dont know your there for i have the silly habit of carrying way too many guns (LS,Hornet,Titan,NF) on me at any times each gun with its own use though sometimes I go without the hornet (Hornet is for gritty fast fire fights when you dont have time for reloads and you need a high rate of fire, yes a NF is adequate but it has a much lower ROF). The titan i use when i see that i am out of site i lay down pull out pre prepared barrel and pre pumped titan and lay behind a shrub (Titan will penetrate most plants without much loss of speed or accuracy or i can just poke the barrel and site through). one target is out i take the barrel off and put both barrel and gun aside taking LS in hand.

Persuader is now... wait for it... A pump gun.

I got sick of pumping up the tanks to full pressure and only having 25 shots to use in a round. So I went a bit crazy with a bike pump, a hacksaw, and some epoxy and tie wire, and now the beast is pump charged.

As soon as I get a 1/2 inch stefan comaptible barrel finished it will be seen at wars, as the Primary of Doom.

sorry to bring up and old topic or necro it or whatever but this gun is so badass it deserves it. MAKE A VIDEO PLEASE IT WOULD BE EPIC :D:D:D: do it! also persuader mk1/ gun of doom, needs a video ASAP

this now belongs to splosion man... its pretty unreliable and there are far more 'rape' nerf guns out there IMO
