    Yes,
    It is my first paintjob but I've seen peoples who didn't take it apart and/didn't put a clearcat on it and those suck.

    Wow! That is a very good paint job for your first time painting a Nerf gun. The blood splatter looks realistic, almost the same as I believe informer's Double Shot?

    Using a clear coat is a really good idea, like you the paint jobs on my guns have begun to crack a little and the most recent ones I have been more careful with and they haven't cracked. It is a good idea to sand down the shell of your gun first then wash it under warm-hot water. If you are doing coats wipe it down in between each coat.

    Yeah. It is a good idea to sand down the shell, especially any particularly shiny bits, up and down, side to side. This is just so the paint has something to grip onto.
