Invented an actual mod today, this mod lets the barrel come out either side if you have done the clip mod, this also helps for left handers.

    Things you need:
Dremel with cutting disc and sanding head.

    Thats it!

    Oh, and a Maverick

Basically cut he thaing off on the red line, test each of these for smoothness and sand if necessary.
Note that this is my first time using a dremel, so don't bag me for not being neat.

Nice effort. Especially useful for lefties since they can work the turret release button with their trigger finger. Also handy for akimbo users, I imagine.

Recommendation: Edit your first post and rename the thread to something more specific, such as "Maverick: Bidirectional Drop-Clip". If everyone who comes up with a Maverick mod calls them "New Maverick Mod", nobody will be able to tell them apart.

    Try this:

It looks like a bit of a rough job, but as long as it works, I guess. I modded my Maverick (cut the barrel pins): it shoots approx. | at around | approximately 38 feet per second, which I think is pretty decent.

If you take a bit of time to format your posts, it won't look like you're just streaming whatever pops into your head straight onto the page.
