Here something that can go in the list

I was at the Hobby shop today and I Ask about a Plastic's Safe Paint Stripper he told me to get some Caustic Soda.

You can buy Caustic soda at the supermarket you will find it in the Cleaning Aisle of a Supermarket.

It come it a 500g pack for $4.00.

    It made for cleaning drain.

Be careful if you use it because it get really hot and can give burn.

I would like to stress safety precautions when dealing with caustic soda (sodium hydroxide [NaOH], for the chemistry folk), along with pretty much any other stuff that is solvent-based.

Indeed, when dissolved in water, it will heat up.
But I would be more concerned that it will cause chemical burns depending on the concentration, if contacts the skin (rather that scalding from heat).

Also, the solution can eat into aluminium (it shouldn't do much to a solid piece, but it will work it's magic on finer aluminium particles, such as powder or shavings).

If your skin feels slippery and soapy upon contact with this stuff, WASH IMMEDIATELY.
The stuff just reacted with your skin to form soap.

First of all, the word you appear to be looking for is "LIE!!!". Secondly, there's no need to be using capitals, aka shouting. Thirdly, any evidence to support your claim?

He was not being offensive. Look up lye.

Sorry neuman, but you have failed to notice the pun that thestick implied, which was emphasised with capitals.

Lye is practically another name for sodium hydroxide/caustic soda.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lye
Apparently, an obsolete Old English spelling of the modern word "lie" as well.

Regarding to alkaline solutions feeling soapy upon contact with skin.
Perhaps you weren't taught on the chemistry of soap making and saponification.
Soap = oil/fat (derived from oily grubby hands and skin cell membranes) + alkaline substance

Soap is good for cleaning your hands before and after modding your Nerf guns, but not so great if half your skin is becoming the soap.
