My secret project is nearly complete, all that remains is some real professional content and some small bug fixes. The content on this website will be of the up most quality and all tutorials will need to be understood for crowds who are both visual learners and written learners.
I need people who can write write ups and submit some of their work to me via e-mail to be ready for the site launch. On launch there will be a submission system to handle tutorial submissions.
The requirements for this content are as follows:
All content must be tutorial orientated in relation to Nerf Blasters & or darts.
Each tutorial requires.
Simplification - Simple is important, please explain things straight forward, while not being to short. Basically limit rambling and get to the point.
Pictures - A lot of people are visual learners, I will not accept tutorials without pictures or tutorials with insufficient pictorial guides. Please send pictures at the size of 800 x 600 & 640 x 480 dimensions, cleanly named.
Spelling & Grammar - If this isn't at a very high standard it will not get a second look.
All bases covered - Ensure the tutorial is complete and clarity is perfect, before you submit read the tutorial over a number of times and think if I had never done this before could I follow through this successfully without questions.
Structure -
Please structure the tutorial as follows:
Title: Name of the tutorial (not Automatic Poo Shooter made out of PVC)
Materials/Tools: List all materials and alternatives, prevent abbreviations
Level: Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced / Godlike
Steps: 1 - whatever
By: You will be given credit clearly for each piece you submit.
DO NOT SUBMIT INFORMATION THAT ISN'T YOURS. Doing so will lead to a ban from this portal permanently and I will ensure you never come back under another alias.
I am also after someone who would like to add news to a portal one or twice a week and keep things up to date.
Forum moderators and are also required for each individual state. You can apply by e-mail. I will be accepting 2 per state.
1 x Global Moderator required to assist in managing trash talk and useless posts.
Event Manager - I require someone to aid in updating events throughout the event management system as well as getting these events out to the public and other forums/websites.
Please only apply if your genuinely interested in improving the Nerf community and are able to give up a couple of hours a week of your time.
