jacko1120 told me about this. Seems like fishpond has a whole bunch of airzone products. Unfortunately, the 8 shot dart guns are sold out lol. Or out of stock.

I had a look at those the other day - I really want to get the Air Zone Cross Bow!!

TO those wanting to make an Octo-shot, TRU Knox is stocking the:
Air Zone 8-shooter (no other name) 2 pack. Unsure of price.
    Triple Shots (always $30)

And, of course, all the usual stuff.
Target Knox still has Scatter Blasts for those interested.

For anyone in Melbourne that actually gives a crap about melee Nerf weapons (I certainly don't),
Minotaur in the CBD has the Thor Nerf Hammer, can't remember the price.

Seriously don't waste your time guys, NOT worth it.

Available Nerf Blasters in Australia - Page 16 Empty Nerf Blasters on Sale at K-Mart

Post  Breadrol Sun May 08, 2011 5:42 am

    Hi Guys,

I was down at our local shopping centre getting something for the Minister For War & Propagana (aka the missus) and found that Nerf gear is going pretty cheap at K-Mart right now. I bought a Longshot for $45 (Myer had it for nearly DOUBLE that!!!) and a Nite Striker for $10 for my daughter (she is only 3, but LOVES shooting daddy's blasters!!). Others I saw were the Raider for $59, Vulcan $69, and darts $6 per pack of 16.

Not too sure if these prices are Australia-wide, but these are some of the cheapest prices I have seen.

Yes, it is true, nerf stock is getting cheaper as availbility of nerf is increasing and so the retailers are competing with each other.

    The retailers usually don't care.

Actually, quite the opposite. Retailer's are forced to compete heavily with online sales when our dollar is strong.

@Brunius. Also explain to me why ATs cost $29 (sales price at target down to $23.20). When Recons first came out, the cheapest you could get was $40-$50.

ATs werent' even available online for a reasonable price ($60 a pop)

I managed to get one for $40, shipped just after the release.

But yes, the dollar affects the price, but more as a flow-on effect to the higher number we order. Demand + higher currency value = more purchases = lower price per unit. An entity like Target would order thousands of Nerf blasters, as well as other Hasbro branded items (Littlest Petshop or Transformers for example) and they'd all get sent in drop shipments to Target's main distribution area(s). That would keep the price much lower.

As to why they haven't lowered the non-discounted price of Recons from when they first started selling them? People have paid up in the past. Why wouldn't they pay up now (when there are no AT's etc.)?

Hey, I've been seeing less availability of AT's lately. I'm heading in to town tomorrow to stock-up, and would be majorly annoyed if I couldn't buy any. (oh the joys of living in rural queensland - 500km's to buy nerf guns!! lol)

Just wanted to confirm that these are still in production, and that Target are preferred stockists??

    Thanks in advance guys

The Target I work at had a few left over from our recent influx. I'm sure we'll get more at some point. My local Target (lol because they aren't the same one -.-) Has a very healthy number. I can only image that the others would have some too unless you're really unlucky...

    Thanks for the info Echoes.

I'm hoping to get half a dozen each of AT's and Maverick's, and use them as loaner blaster's if I can get a local Nerf community up and running.

I'll drop in to Target first thing when I get to town tomorrow.

    Cheers,

yeh, bought out my local target of longshot's, AT's, Maverick's and Magstrike's today. It's a pity I couldn't wait until later in the week. Funnily enough though, I got the Longshot's for $44 each, and the Maverick's for $13. maybe they were having a pre-sale sale...

Interesting bits at Target, the Glen and Forest Hill:
FH has Camo Streamlines (also on sale for $23.20)
    Glen has Scatter Blasts ($15)
Both have Recons + 2 extra clips + 12 extra streamlines for the same price as a standard Recon ($31.20, sale).

I can't believe in the same shopping centre Geelong Westfield myer has Longshots ($99,) Recon ($49) and Stampede($129) where as Target with the 20% sale has longshot for $55, Recon $31 and Stampede $59.

Enough of the rant BOT Target Geelong has
    ~15 Stampede's,
~10 AT's and the same in Recon's (the value pack with the spare darts and magazine's)
    6 Longstrikes
    1 Longshot
    2 Vulcans
    ~5 Raiders
and a number of NF & Mavericks

A nice spread, personally I only grabbed a NF and Recon pack. Used the recon light to make a red dot lazer pointer, and before anyone says anything, yes I know its dangerous and it is just for show, never for actual use.

    Fishpond Sux!

Somehow their available stock on their site was wrong so the Hydro Cannon, Sharp Shot and Barrel Break I ordered last month now won't be here until early June.

Did anyone else get a similar email lately?

Somehow their available stock on their site was wrong so the Hydro Cannon, Sharp Shot and Barrel Break I ordered last month now won't be here until early June.

Did anyone else get a similar email lately?

Yeah I got similar with the Barrel Break IX-2 I ordered.

    Estimated dispatch: 25th May - 3rd June
    Estimated delivery: 27th May - 8th June

    Yeh guys,

Same deal with fishpond. Expected stock in warehouse 13/5. I still haven't received a confirmation on that either.
