Claymore - Possible nerf application

I found this a few weeks back and was thinking since it uses a "catapult" system you could just use very short steffans instead of BB's. Thoughts?

Otherwise you could set up a multi-directional set of secret shots or something.

That is sick, imagine just setting it up (in an urban area) where they all come out of the base and taking out the whole team

I was thinking for capture the flag and atack and defend. Perfect for small allyways and such.

no more likely then a 10yr old walking over to your baging area and curb-stomping your new 4B-Longstrike you spent the last 2 weeks on.

Would you be able to reused it after one use and you could put 1/4 inch stefans in it?

Definitely an awesome piece of equipment one could use - but goodluck getting that through customs.

You could build a similar piece of equipment yourself without too much hassle. Ok it might not look like a claymore mine, but so what, it would work like one and well an IED looking device is almost as realistic anyway. As for the propellant there are a couple of viable options, spring, compressed air, air tank powered, fill device with your foam shots. Detonation, a wire or pressure pad, or via a simple remote, which you could source from some toy or build yourself.

Ok this might cost more, but then it might cost less too. Just imaging that cookie tin bang foam all around.

Edit: You could even just use a balloon full of air as the propellant.

You could make it yourself saves it going through customs and them possibly take it away from you i have seen these on youtube and homemade ones just search homemade claymores and they should have a writeup.
