Just a little video I've put up. For those who don't know about the new stuff, also shows how fast you can make darts with this method.

WOW Nice and quick!
What do you use to bond the tip to the foam? And do you put the glue on the foam or tip?

Ok that's just showing off
Impressive stuff, should inspire confidence in a lot of guys who were unsure about making their own.

Forgot to mention that!.
Your cheap $1.00 super glue is the best adhesive.
@ Dietzie
Thanks :), I hope it does to. You can do it much faster than 3:38 if your in rythym which takes 10-20 minutes. I've found when your in rhythm you can pickup 20-25 its of foam if you have a big hand and finish them off in seconds.
@mull, I've ordered them, so sometime VERY early May.

Awesome.
I didn't see that in the ordering thread yet, hence, I enquired.
I'm about to start modding and homemaking, so I'll need to obtain plenty of different materials to test out.

If only, Clunk ): I love the look and feel (NOT including the feeling of being shot with them) Of snappies. Hey Ben, what are these like for feel? I imagine them being kind of squishy, while still firm, but I have no idea. Are they going to hurt like shit? Lol.

It's a brusing feeling rather than a skin welt sting feeling, so I've been told.

Ohh, okay. I was just wondering if they're like a softer rubber then streamline tips, obviously solid, or harder or what. Not really important, mine will be here some time soon, so I'll just see (: cheers, Littlebro.

Without having been shot with one, I'd have to agree, it makes perfect sense.

These tips hurt a lot less than snap caps, but the extra weight allows them to be felt through heavy material like jeans better as well as through loose fitting clothing.
The pain is more of a thud than a sting and you feel it deeper. But it goes away faster.
The best thing about these tips is how easy it is to re-use them if your foam gets squashed or something. Just pull the tip out, clean off the little bits of old foam and whack it into a new piece.

The Clunk bag.... nah, doesn't sound quite right man.
I'd just like to confirm how quick and easy it is to make these darts with the sili tips - I managed to make 100 in around 10 minutes - and had my 20-month-old daughter helping out by handing me the tips (hence why it took so long )
After spending 2 hours to make 250 snap-cap darts, I think I'll be ordering alot more sili's!!

Recommendation for anyone using the silicone tips. Cheap superglue works very well, but depending on how runny your superglue is, it may very well run all the way down the tube and out the other end. It only took me two bundles before I realised why I was getting superglue on my hands. So for those of you with very runny superglue:
1) When putting superglue into the foam, keep the foam horizontal
2) When putting the darts aside to dry, keep the foam horizontal or tip down
I'm not so worried about superglue on people's hands (c'mon, most of us have had it happen to us), but whatever's underneath the foam might not be so appreciative, e.g. floor, desk, stuff on desk.

sili-tips are definitely more people-friendly. Just launched a couple from my Titan, and wouldn't penetrate cardboard at 30 feet. Snap-caps go through 3 - 4 layers of cardboard at identical range...

Sorry for double post,
I got my foam today and Ben had dropped one pre-made dart in with it all, one that he had glued a heavy silicone tip onto. The foam cracked! Hahaa, I know how silly that sounds. The glue has run down the centre of the foam when he glued the tip on and made the inside of the foam hard and brittle. It actually cracked and has made a big split in the side of the dart, about an inch long. It may be because of it going on a plane to get here or something, because I haven't heard of anyone else's darts doing this. Just thought I'd let everyone know!
Cheers,
Cody
