Post  evozn Wed Jun 22, 2011 5:32 pm

This is the first custom thing I ever made and this will be my first post

    Anyway I made a custom breech for my nite finder, mainly made of;
    - 20mm PVC
    - 15mm PVC
    - 13 mm Poly pipe
    - E-tape
    - Hot glue

I simply just nested the poly pipe in the 15mm and the 15mm in the 20 mm, e-taped and epoxied it together and sprayed it chaos black

I'm practically done, all I have to do is add detail ^_^ And when/if I finish my nite finder I'll post it.

How's the dart fit with your 15mm PVC? Mine's a bit hit and miss so I haven't really considered it for a breech. But like xoenz said, looks spiffy. Though from experience I don't recommend a barrel that long for a NF.

Looks good, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's experimented with 13mm poly.

    Cheers,

That's a very clean looking NF make sure you take plenty of pictures for us.

While that is a very long barrel for a Nitefinder I'm sure it would work wonders on a Tripleshot.

    Keep up the good work!

Nice, man. (: Folks above me are quite right, Nite Finders just don't move enough air for a barrel that long, although I noticed you didn't say you're using it on that Nite Finder, just attached it for the picture, hah.

Breech looks great black, nice job.

Nice looking indeed, reminded me of serv breech on his 4B, the only one I know of here in adelaide to use irrigation pipe and fittings.

Also, with a c-836 in that NF I would think it would work very well.

    Gooni.

    Merged into Homemade topic

Although, this is very close to just being a showoff thread. If you do want to just post pictures of your homemade please post them in the corresponding pictures thread.

    Other than that, good job!
