Wattle Park, August 7th

Ok, going off the relative success of the last one... ITS WAR TIME!!!

When:

* Date: Sundays, August 7th
* Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm (or whereabouts)



Where:

* Location: Wattle Park in Surrey Hills
* Street: 1012 Riversdale Rd, turn into Monsbourgh Dr and meet up in the topmost carpark near where the function centre/tram playground is located



What to Bring:

* appropriate blasters and equipment (primaries, secondaries, shields etc.)
* darts (suggested amount is 100+) and other munitions (eg. grenades)
* money for trading and buying food/drink
* safety eyewear - PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN!!!
* appropriate clothing



Game Modes (including but not limited to):
- Pistol Wars
- FFP
- Bomb the Base
- Defend the Fortress
- VIP
Also if you have any ideas you want to try out put up a post and I will consider them

Rules:
- No realistic looking blasters are to be used. You can bring them along to show them off, but leave them in the car when we're playing.
- Seriously no cheating, If the ref calls a hit just accept you were hit and go and respawn. Arguing the point with the ref will cost you an extra life.
- FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MARK YOUR CLIPS, BLASTERS AND DARTS and anything that is yours in general if you expect to get it back at the end of the day. Any unmarked stock darts found at the end of the day will be kept by me.
- No bullying (you know who you are). Seriously, tolerance is really low for that. Any bullying (name calling etc) will result in you being banned from my wars, I'm too old to deal with your childish schoolyard crap.
- Dart sweep is mandatory for all players, anyone found just standing around and not helping out will be banned from all Melbourne wars (the other organisers support this rule, so watch out).

There is a fish and chip shop about 5 mins walk from the location, otherwise BYO lunch. Any questions, you know what to do.

totally coming (will be my first war ) just wondering will there be any one trading a stock longshot (or modded though non would be nice) for cash or a non modded hulk edition hornet AS-6 around 4-5 years old barely been used and it has a sick stock hulk paint job

any way i'm coming for sure

I can sell you a BNIB Longshot for $45 I can mod it for an extra $15

I reckon I'll be there, but will have to bail by 1:30pm. Still looking forward to it though!

Can't guaranty my attendance for this one. Girlfriends 21st the night before, if I'm sober enough to drive I'll come.

My left forearm has been sore all day today, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why. I then realised, after taking 2-3 shots testing my Shotgun LS, that it was from priming it all morning at the war yesterday :P.

The date stands as is, I only change war dates for a handful of people and they know who they are. Also I wish Oznerf had a like button...

man I'd love to come, for my first war ever (woot) but problem with me is parents, although my dad is willing to take me almost everywhere, but i only have 65 streamlines and 6 suctions or so, will there be a cost on borrowing darts? I'm not really sure if my dad would really wanna pay money to borrow darts for a few hours.

I'll update this for you on the war list :).

This is why yesterdays war got move back to the 24th of July from the 7th of August as I and some other people could not come, So can we please move this war to say like the 21st of August.

I will give you the heads up about holding wars every week or every 2 weeks as we try that in Melbourne last year, If I remembered right we were only getting around 6 people to each war and that why we when back to having 1 war a month.

As to warring every couple of weeks, it wont last long as I'm on placement from the end of August to the middle of October, so I'm just squeezing it all in while I can.

Well in that case you will not see me at the war on the 7th of August as I have a motor bike club working bee on that date.

I'm still down for this one. Perhaps see what the attendance is a week beforehand, if we have 8-10+ then it's still a go?
