Actually,
Cutting down springs is pretty bad practice, as you remove the base ring (known as the "closed coil") and affect the overall design of the spring.
Springs are designed with free and compressed length, number and pitch of coils as just a few of many factors.
Our reverse plunger kit is as good as any in the business, and good value.
May I suggest that if you're going for that type of blaster, go with the Alpha Trooper.
As far as reverse plunger blasters go, it's a good one, and you can get it at the right price on the right day at Target.
