hi i want to punch out the ar in a strike fire but can't use a drill so is it a bad idea to punch them out with a screwdriver?

When i did mine i found that i wasn't able to just punch it out and my needle nose pliers couldn't get a grip on the barrel post, so i used a drill.

Or how about just sawing the whole barrel off and replacing it, like I did. Much easier!

I used a screwdriver on my maverick's ARs and cracked a couple of the discs, so try something else.

Just use a dremel, it works so great and its fast.
