    Hey guys,
Basically my stampede will fire 1 dart or 2 darts before the plunger tube (or whatever) starts to not move all the way forward. The problem could lie in this piece which popped out during modding and I can't find where it goes. But I think it's somewhere in the front barrel assembly. I've tested all of the wiring and it's all good, running off of a smaller 12v SLA battery. It has all the standard mods with a triple shot spring replacement.

    Piece that popped out:

    @Nacho Taco.

I think I know what the problem maybe. Did you have to force your triple shot spring into the plunger tube? Or it wouldn't slide right in without any assistance.

The plunger diameter maybe a bit smaller than usual due to inconsistency of manufacturing.

Ahhh, yes it was a bit of a tight fit. And that would be a problem because the spring would scrape up all of the lube. Any other reasons it would be a problem?

    Aluminium extrusions.
You can get them in U and square cross-sections, from Bunnings.

Clicky pen springs have proven good to me once doubled up with the original catch spring. You'll need to experiment with a few before you get a good fit though.

if you got a ls, take a spring from behind the nub in the stock that keeps the clips in.

To be honest, neither. You'll only get around 70ft max with those two. Try turreting it, or using a speed loader, or a singled breech. There's no deadspace to work with so it ^ the range.

An inline is essentially 20mm with your barrel glued to the very front of it.

20mm orange conduit has a smaller id, so 16mm conduit dosen't fit into it.
Petg works well in the 20mm orange though.

Is it okay to not wash the shell of the blaster after sanding? Instead I've been using the vacuum to clean the shell after.

Not really, cause a vacuum cleaner can't clean the grease off the shell.
Plus sanding it gives the shell more surface area to cling onto.

Yes, a c836 will cause damage to your blaster. It's a fact of modding, get used to it.

If you're that desperate, you can get some alu rod, and make a new plunger rod out of that.

For those who have opened the Praxis, does anyone know what bit this is? I pulled it apart the other day and when I got the internals out this part fell out. I can't figure out where it goes because when I put the blaster back together it fires fine. (Although it does seem to be weaker even though I re-positioned the spring)

Yeah I haven't been able to see it, I think it's something really inside it because it didn't fall out until I had unscrewed and remove the area with the spring. It doesn't help that all parts blend in so well together.

They sure do. The come in 600mmx900mm sizes though and cost I think $15.80 for a sheet. However, you can make at least I think maybe 15 of these sleds.

I can't remember which section, but I think they're in the aluminium tubing section. Ask the staff if you're unsure.

Thanks guys, I might have to drop by a hobby store then, the $15.80 sounds a bit expensive for me, unless they might be able to cut it to a smaller size, which I doubt.

If you ask the right person, they usually cut things down to size for you free of charge.

I myself have had things cut to size here and there over the years.

I just use a $2 aluminium dinner plate from an Asian gift shop.
It's a bit harder to work with, as the sheet metal that I carved out of it, is more than 1.2mm thick.
