    Hey There

I am from Canberra and pretty much addicted to Nerf, it has been 4 days since i last purchased a foam blaster.

Been looking through this forum for a while now and figured i should finally join up. I have been collecting Nerf for the last few years and purchase almost any Nerf blaster I can find in Canberra, with the only exception of those blasters which require batteries to function. Which means I have around 21 blasters floating around my house now.

Welcome to the forums =). I see you've got the vortex blasters. You're views on them?

Are you the collector? The modder or both?

When i first saw the vortex blasters advertised i was pretty unimpressed with the still images, but i watched some reviews and then seeing those new boxes in person..... the black and green boxes are nice and the vortex have some impressive stock power. I thought discs would curve and be weak, but they are so far very impressive and surprisingly accurate.

I am more the collector type, but mostly because i like the way they look stock, so i only ever mod internals. Though i would like to rip my long shot apart and have for a while been trying to figure out how to fit an under-slung recon on it, while keeping that classic look you get with a front gun integration.

    Welcome!

If you're interested in playing with your nerf in addition to collecting them, check out the Canberra and SOuthern NSW Dart Tag page on Facebook. We're a good group of people who run regular nerf events in Canberra (there's even a game this weekend if you're keen).
