Need help with the Nitefinder, specifically with a c836 spring.

Ok, this may be a bit vague but i've already ruined a Nitefinder and don't want it to happen again.

Ok today I bought a new spring and now I'm watching LordDraconial's vid to 'super' mod the Nitefinder.
Ok I just put in the spring and the barrel won't fit over the top of the plunger properly will put up pics, please help.

Did you cut the spring down?

In Australia we normally cut 2 coils off the C-836 spring if we are putting it in a nite-finder.

Hello, Oxymoron made a list for tools to do this but I only have pliers and am not the muscliest 12 year old on the block, any other suggestions?

Try a hacksaw and just take you time cutting it.

I have a NiteFinder with a C-836.
To cut mine I used a grinder.
