Bumper NERF stocks at Target, KMart and Big W ... sort of ...

Post  argonaut on Fri Jan 06, 2012 4:29 am

Just joined (06 Jan 2012), so will post in the new(beings) forum later,

Just a heads up to anyone wanting to buy some post Xmas Nerf or replace brokens. Following are some caches I found in local stores in Sydney =o)

LongStrike - at the Target store in Roselands Shopping Centre (SC) in South West Sydney) last night. $59 = a bargain. Stock, saw about 9 there at least (05 Jan 12), beautiful new boxes too.

Alpha Troopers - same Target at Roselands, and also Broadway SC near Sydney. $29. About 12 in stock last night, I bought one. Target Roselands said they have more out back.

Recons - same Target at Roselands and K-Mart Broadway SC Sydney, plus clear Recons by the bucket. Price around $29 I think, plenty of stock. Also plenty of Standard Recons plus the bonus packs with 2x extra clips.

Stampedes & Vulcans - plenty at K-Mart Broadway SC and Hurstville SC. Both $59 each.

    Argonaut out.

UPDATE 14 Jan 2012 - was just at Broadway Shopping Centre Sydney today, and the K-mart there has Stampede's on sale for $48 (reduced from $59), bought one myself. This is the special deal which includes a total of 100 streamlines (60 as normal, plus an extra 40 in the box). Also, Roselands Target NSW still has plenty of Longstrikes there, I haven't seen these anywhere else personally.

Stock update for BigW, Forest Hill. (only store with interesting news)
    Rayvens for $39.xx
GITD Streamlines (16pk) for $5.74 or so
20 disc refill for about $9 - much better value than the 10 disc refill.
Standard Longstrikes also present, on the spot which used to be Longshots.

K-Mart Brimbank has about 10 Rayvens as of yesterday @ $45.oo

FYI they are closing down that store in March so they may/may not have a storewide sale *fingers crossed*

Also I must say the Rayven is quite comfortable sort of like a mini Stampede and the GITD is pretty cool.

35 Drum with GITD darts spaced 5 apart, night time Nerf warfare, tracers anyone?

Cool, thanks. What BigW would that be (I'm in Sydney too).

EDIT: I was also wondering where Shotblasts are available. I think Target has the new colour, I was just wondering if anyone still sold the old red and blue ones.

Big ws around penrith/blacktown/parramatta still have them

    As for shotblasts,

They normally stock the new coloured ones but sometimes
I find the red/blue ones on clearence or just lingering around in the store

    Forest Hill Big W:
    Loads of Rayvens (10+): $40
    1 Longstrike: $45
    1 Longshot: $45
The Longstrike price tag has replaced the Longshot price tag.

Also, for those interested in the Lanard Big Salvo, Forest Hill Toyworld has them for $20 (from $50), as well as extra arrows/rockets for $3 (from $5). I picked up one of each.
