I would highly recommend at least modifying a nitefinder. They are the easiest to modify and very little can go wrong if you follow the guides online. They also can get heaps of range when modified properly. Dare I say up to 30metres?

Don't worry, take your time working your way through mods. Simple blasters like nite finders are great to build up your knowledge on modding.

I would also recommend a triple shot or hand cannon. Pretty simple to mod and they give great results.
