Only problem in painting your blaster black is that you cannot use them at Nerf Wars (unless you are still a child or a very, very, young teen, because by 14 you would be almost too old to run around with a black blaster in a public area.
I just leave all my blasters in their stock colours, but that is where the stock ends. However if you have the time to do a paint job, you may wish to look at a bright coloured camouflage paint scheme. We just have to make sure our blasters dont look like real guns as that just will cause problems.
