Maverick help.

Right I have a maverick and attempted to give it a turret mod, but now as soon as you cock it, it discharges.
what I mean is that you pull the slide back and as soon as it clicks it fires.

help would be greatly apreciated.

You need to reinforce the catch.

Reinforcing the catch with putty isn't going to help here. You only reinforce it with putty to stop the catch from snapping. If you gun isn't catching properly then you need to wive it a stronger catch spring. I suspect however that the reason that your gun is not catching is due to incorrect internal placement.
