Hey buddy. You mgiht want to delete your longshot paintjob thread. There's a thread for posting your pictures of your guns. Also painting your gun black is frowned in the forums, and even MORE frowned upon if you want to bring it to wars. You should understand why.

    But welcome to oznerf.

Green and red camo is fine :). But we still usually frown on dart colours. Keep al lthe 'orange bits' of your guns stock orange. Keep the barrel tip orange so cops won't be able to charge you with possession of a firearm (as stupid as it sounds, it's true).

Do you know of a good way to strip the spray paint from the gun
Id like to sand the whole thing down before i actually repaint
if i do the red camo idea ill be using a fluro orange paint on it so it looks nice but you can see its a NERF and not a real gun

    Welcome

There's plenty of ways to strip paint off them. I've used metho on models before. sadly I don't know what kind of effect it would have on Nerf plastic

Umm you can always use black as your base paint? And then just spray paint over it. Two ways of doing it I think...

    1. Have a base paint beneath it. And just scrape it out with a knife
    2. Get a nerf sticker some how so you can paint over it, and the peel it away.

And just because it says NERF, people arent' going to be distinguish that from far away. So it's best to just leave all the orange bits on your longshot orange (the flash hider (barrel tip), trigger, priming handle). Easy as that really.
