You can't go past Soundwave festival, went earlier this year. Next year is gonna be even better (Iron Maiden, Slayer, A7X, BFMV, BMTH.... the lineup is incredible)
Parkway Drive was the best concert I've been to, was videoed and was on TV the other day
Nitro Circus Live was also insane (even though it isn't really considered a gig)

WOMADADELAIDE not really a gig but I have been to it since I was in ma mum's stomach.
Also Cat Empire was great.
And Ozomatli was pretty cool, basically been to lots of musical festivals and such with my family.
