Buzz Bee Tek 6 Empty Buzz Bee Tek 6

My local KMart had this in the crapload, so I suppose it made sense when they put it on clearance ($10). So I decided to pick one up.

The plastic looks decidedly inferior to Nerf's, and the cocking mechanism is a bit loose. But when it came to performance, it wasn't that bad.

I just realized once you prime it, you can actually keep cocking it to rotate the barrels.

Granted reloading it isn't as cool as with a Maverick, but for ten bucks I don't mind.

Due to my dodgy PETG rebarreling, mine gets ranges from 8 to 12m.

If you don't know what it looks like - not my photo though

At least that was the one they sold in Hornsby KMart.

If you look here you can see the different variations of the Tek 6

The bad thing about it is how the cocking mech is also the barrel rotate mech. makes it harder to reload. Therefore more time between each shot
But it's ok for a indoor war I guess

^ I guess... I dunno I've never thought of that as an issue.

Of course it's most comparable to a Maverick in the Nerf range. I think despite it's inferior spring, the seal is much better here.

Yes it has an amazing seal for a stock gun. Hold your finger down over the barrel and shoot. The plunger takes ages

But is it worthy of $10?

    ....well, is it?

The Tek 6 in my opinion isn't worth $10 (MY OPNINION) but $10 for a Maverick is. There is just so much more you do with a Maverick. The plastic on this is just..ew. I got like 2 of these for $2 each because for some reason some people these days don't know how to operate a simple toy.

The Tek 6 isn't that bad of a blaster. The only real problem it takes a shitload of effort to modify. If I had a complaint, it's the priming handle and the handle. The blaster itself has padding in it already and produces quite a bit of air. You NEED to replace the barrel though just because it's too loose a fit.

Nah don't use PETG, use conduit! Haha.

The HvZ'ers love these things, if not for their crappy priming handle. Apparently, they're as reliable as they come.
