    Thanks to Unknown's Shotblast Mod, I've gone on a bit of a SS Modding frenzy.

    The PB is a small water pistol, to which I've added a Hornet tank. The stock pump is fairly crap, with only a 2 inch stroke, and takes a fair few pumps to fully prime the tank. Apart from that, it's quite an ergonomic pistol, which hits pretty decent ranges of 65 - 70 feet.

    Materials/tooling required:

    * Hornet tank and QEV (blast button)
    * Hot glue gun
    * Basic modding toolkit
    * Dremel/rotary tool/mini hacksaw
    * Epoxy adhesive/JB epoxy weld/Plumber's goop
    * Vinyl tubing
    * Barbed tee piece
    * Barrel material of choice

    Begin by disassembling the blaster. Discard all the water tank tubing. Cut off the water tank inlet nub, insert vinyl tubing in to the nub, and glue. Next, glue the nub in to the pump outlet. Attach some tubing to the QEV, and glue the outlet of the pump, and the QEV to the blaster shell, using hot glue. You will need to remove/trim some of the internal plastic of the blaster to get everything to line up properly. Attach a small screw to the QEV, so that it is aligned with the trigger. Like so:

    Cut the front off of the water tank, as well as some of the back, to make room for the tubing to run.

    Trim the plastic pegs from the pointy end of the blaster, to allow the Hornet tank to fit. Glue the tank in to the orange barrel spacer. Attach vinyl tubing to hornet tank, and secure with epoxy/goop.

    Attach all tubing to a tee piece, and secure with goop/hose clamp/cable tie. Test that you have no air leaks/system functions properly. Internals should be similar to this:

    Re-assemble the blaster. Attach barrel material of choice - I used a small piece of petg, nested in conduit. Finished product:

    Like I mentioned earlier, it does take quite a few pumps between shots. I am considering replacing the pump, but this was more of a research project - rather than an overly functional blaster project. But, with good projectile velocity, and ranges of around 70 feet flat, this is a fun blaster, which is rather inexpensive to build.

    Cheers,

    Mate, it's quite a simple mod, you'd be crazy to pay someone to do it for you. The hardest part is finding the hornet tanks. You can buy or make QEV/Blast button's.
