Ok so I got this guy for $17 on Fishpond a few days ago and it arrived today.
I played around with it for a bit. It was pretty good, averaging 35ft.
I wanted a bit more so after some Overhaulin' I was able to get up to 60ft.
Here we go.
Here are the body screws, they're all the same.
Those two go in the slide.
Here is an internal view.
The catch mech close up.
Here's a close up on the turret area.
See those five screw in the pentagon shape?
Undo those to get access to the AR's
Here they are.
You know what to do next...
Chop 'em off!
Make sure to line up the posts when you re-assemble it.
An exploded view of the plunger assembly.
Here comes the tricky part, you need to increase the slot by 1/2". Do this to both sides.
Now there is a ridge there that you need to shave down (1/2"), it might be a bit hard to see.
Now cut a new slot in the plunger rod once again by 1/2".
Use the picture for reference.
Now add a nail and glue in in place, repeat on both sides.
Putty it!
Once dry sand it down nice an smooth.
Before
After
Put it all back together and your all done.
I'll add some Petg barrels soon, hopefully I can get 70ft with an added spring.
Hope you like it
