Wars IN Sydney

I didnt want to post this in the war thread but will someone please host a war in sydney?

Well we have some issues we need to sort out with the police because they sort of came to our war (after it was over) and slapped the two organisers (Synergie and I) as well as a couple of the participants with cautions for weapons possession or something like that. Until those are sorted, neither Synergie nor I will be hosting anything.

Perhaps you could ask Longstrikeguy to organise something up in chatswood.

Btw ungmon whereabouts in Sydney do you live?

Speaking from experience, a caution for something like that isn't a big issue for the person involved. I've known a few guys to have had stock whips etc confiscated by the police, issued with an on-the-spot caution, and received a small fine. It doesn't go on your record, unless you have to appear in court, and a conviction is recorded. Although, it would be used against you if you were charged with a more severe, but similar offence (eg: possessing a knife in public etc etc).

It is, however, a little concerning for future wars, which is obviously what Echoes is referring to. Maybe you could seek clarification/direction from a police officer from the weapons unit or whatever they call it. Metro areas will have a dedicated unit assigned to dealing with weapons licencing/possession etc. I had a constable confiscate some of my martial arts display weapons from my house during a search, but when I challenged the ruling with the weapons division, my items were returned, and the whole saga was swept under the carpet. And, I have to say, the officer I dealt with was more than helpful with my situation. They'd probably be able to steer you in the right direction with do's and do not's for paint scheme's, range/velocity, attire etc.

Both Echoes and Synergie seem to be switched-on guys, who would have the ability to present a professional proposal for the police to review.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it to the war. My PC Died, well, that and minecraft being awesome.
There will definetly be a war on in the Sept-Oct Holidays organised by LStrikeguy and/or I, so start getting some money together for that
