Joe's second entry - The StormTommy

What is it? Two BuzzBee Tommy 20's bolted to a battery drill handle, running off 6v.
How does it work? On the back of the blaster there are two toggle switches. One controls whether both halves fire at once, or if only one fires; if the top switch is set to single fire, the other switch controls whether it's the left or right half that's firing. The trigger itself is a two stage deal; half pulled would start the flywheels spinning, full pull would start them firing.
Why did I make it? This was during a stage of my Nerfing where biggest blaster was quite obviously the best. Nerf at ANU was practically non-existent and the vast majority of people who did have blasters, had Mavericks. This was infinitely cooler and better than a Maverick.

    Full build here.

I've finally finished my entries for this competition - my 'dirty pair' of ECS blasters, the Stampede SMG and the BLOCKADE ECS

-Voltage increased to 11.4v, using a 2200mAh LiPo battery
-Shell minimised at front and rear, plasticard used to clean up the bodywork
-Custom 'Whiteout' style paintjob - war legal

Range: 50 feet flat, 60 angled (as tested at the Castle Hill modding day )

    BLOCKADE ECS (Barricade mod):
-Trigger activated flywheels to save battery power and give some stealth ability
-Flywheels taped to increase the pull on darts
-Custom made clip feed system/cosmetic work constructed from 2mm and 1mm plasticard, welded with styrene glue and reinforced with hot glue
-Custom made clip release system made from plasticard, metal rod and a small spring
-Wiring redone to accept a 7.4v 1000mAh high discharge LiPo battery, which did not arrive in time for the comp - retrofitted for standard AA batteries for now.
-Custom 'Whiteout' style paintjob - war legal

Range (stock voltage) 30 feet flat, 35-40 angled
RoF: approx 2 darts per second

NOTE: will accept all NERF ammo clips and drums up to the 35 shot Raider drum.

Thanks to clunk07 for organising this competition, and good luck to all the entrants!

EDIT: here's a link to the build log here on Oznerf if anyone is interested http://www.oznerf.com/t3770-clip-fed-barricade-build-log#69435

Alright guys here's my entry for the CWC modification competition.
This actually isn't the original project I was going to enter but the other blaster kind of failed so I kind of only modded this in about 1 week using a shell from a previous blaster.I designed and intended the use of this blaster in indoor wars and it was also my first Longshot and first brass breech so yeah.

    Nerf Longshot:
    - Full brass breech
    - Seal improvement, perfect seal
    - PVC stock block
    - Added Recon Spring
    - Added much beefier catch spring
    - Reinforced bolt sled using coat hanger method
    - Plunger padding
    - All locks removed
    - Deadspace filled on breech
    - Sound deadening
    - Fix-a-Tap lubricant
    - Paintjob
    - Primed with vinyl dye
    - First coat of Ironlak Acrylic spray "Roarke Black"
    - Taped off areas to be kept black
    - Second coat of Ironlak Acrylic spray "Alpine White"
    - Details with red acrylic brush paint
    - Paintjob protected with Matte clear coat
    - Ranges 60-70 ft with 5 degree angle

I need to put in a check valve and a pressure regulator in it, but their still being shipped.
ranges: don't want to try pumping it up to high, but with the short breech on it and with 15 pumps, far enough.

    Entry two:
4b tank in a recon shell

Ok Guys here's my second entry. It's a nightfinder and it was super easy to mod. The only tools I used were a screwdriver, a file, and a hacksaw.

    Nerf Night Finder

    - AR removal
    - Coupler addition 20mm conduit
    - C836c spring replacement
    - Upgraded catch spring
    - Minimized w/ hacksaw
    - Seal improvement (teflon tape and double o-ring)
    - Plunger head super glued on
    - Ranges 65-75 feet flat with PETG barrel nested in 20mm conduit

    Coupler Addition
CWC modification competition entries only - commenting will result in a 7-day ban - Page 2 102_4922

This was an extremely easy modification as the only thing I had to buy was the nightfinder and the C836 spring, all the rest I had lying around the house(e.g. o-ring from another nihtfinder, couplers, catch spring, adhesives,e-tape etc). Minus the araldite drying on the coupler, this probably only took me about 30 minutes.
