The Iphone 5 is coming out next year.

They will still bring out the iPhone 5, just a lot of people thought it would come out this month. Instead they have chosen to release an iPhone 4S...which I will note is super cheap ($200USD for the 8gig model). So I guess we can expect an iPhone5 July next year.

Pitty, he was a genius, and now he's dead, apple will be diminished without him.

That because its music..even now beethoven is still popular..The tech industy needs innovation something Jobs had is spades look what he did with Pixar..I mean in 10 years do you think thst the iPhone 1 is still going to be an industry standard..The answer is no Apple needed Jobs to set new bench marks communication and entertainment.

But realistically Jobs could not be there forever, he knew that and that is why he stepped down (just in time too).

I would think someone that smart would set the company up for a future gameplan. So while he is retired and gone his plans should live on...well for a couple years I guess.

Its not as simple as "oh Jobs is here we are doing awesome, now he is gone we are failing", I am sure people at the company actually learnt something :p

While I agree with your theory Joey...last time Jobs left (due to his straight shooting this is they way it is attitude) Apple back in 87 they went to the dumps..Just point out the fact that History tends to repeat it self.
