Deal Extreme, what do you think?
I've recently been reading up on DX and I'm getting a fair bit of negative feed back as well as a lot of positive feed back. So what do you guys think about it? I just bought a fair bit of stuff from there despite the negative feedback but I still don't trust it 100%.

Never heard of them until you said something (that is if you are talking about www.dealextreme.com?)
So i checked it out and did a little digging and found this http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/dealextreme
Hope that helps you out?!

Your package will always arrive. Just expect massive delays.

Re: Deal Extreme, what do you think?
You get what you pay for in life, and Deal Extreme is no exception.
I use them a fair bit, and generally have done OK.
I always use the free shipping, and it has always arrived eventually.
If a product turns out to be shit, I don't buy it again.
In the case of trustfire batteries and chargers, I just buy plenty to allow for waiting time and some failures.
You have to admit, their products are dirt cheap.

Pretty well echo OzNerfNerd. Their products and service aren't the best, but they are the cheapest. My stuff has always arrived.

Re: Deal Extreme, what do you think?
I used to do at least 2 orders a month from DX, and that went on for at least 6 months.
Everything always arrived, and I constantly used EMS. The only issue, is they don't keep their
stock levels current, which is where the delays come from. I waited 5 months for some stuff.
Cheers,

I've only bought from there once (Trustfires & charger) and to my surprise it arrived in two weeks.

I've had stuff come in 2 weeks and other stuff after 6 months due to demand... I actually buy a lot from them, stuff isn't always quality though

I dealt with DX once a couple of years ago the order never arrived and following their refund/resolution process proved to be equally fruitless... I won't use nor recommed them to anyone.
Caveat emptor
Having said that I have had great service from Kaidomain.com, although most of my purchases are electronics related.

I on the other hand have had very good experience with them, nothings really broken from them, good price 1-2 week delivery, all good in my experience.

Re: Deal Extreme, what do you think?
I placed my 1st Order for some Trustfires + a Charger on 16 Jan '12, then a 2nd Order with only Trustfires on 23rd Jan '12. I received the 2nd Order first with just the Trustfires in about 4 weeks. They then delayed the 1st Order and split the order into two packages - so I received the charger on 15 Feb '12 (4 week delivery), then the Trustfires arrived only 20th Feb '12 this week (5 week delivery). They seem fine to me, but like others, it's a 4 to 6 week turnaround depending on what stock they have.

Re: Deal Extreme, what do you think?
Got a pair of holsters off DX in two weeks. First experiance so far but as long as you are willing to work with delays then on time arrivals should be a pleasant suprise.
