Re: OMW Massacre kits.
No problem, just prompting you to look first before asking that is all : )
It up to you to decide in the end.
I am sure there is other information out on the internet also regarding the kits.
Go for a Google search in you're web browser.

Re: OMW Massacre kits.
Hard to tell seems no one has got one yet(other than recon). Wait a week and see what people think. I can't wait for mine. Mind you it was a freebie...

Re: OMW Massacre kits.
I have a massacre kit in my sonic Recon.
Initially I was impressed by how professional the kit is, then I started to become frustrated with how buggy it became.
The slide would not stay in the home position after cocking (I now believe that this has played a large part in the broken boltsleds, Jun also says that a batch of questionable sleds got mixxed in with good stock but hey? he would have to wouldn't he?), the spring was fine at first but then it started to bind up, and darts weren't sliding back into the bolt correctly and would end up compressing against the dart tooth and sometimes even jam the dart tooth.
All this was combining to lots of chomped darts and jams, to the point where I began questioning even having it installed at all. So I sat down with my blaster and tried to analyze the problems and came up with this fix.

Also you need to grind out some of the webbing from the spring seat in the rear of the blasters housing. I believe this has been well covered already by many other people.
Now, I love my Massacre kit, to the point where, I am no longer even using the OMW spring indoors anymore. It shoots streamlines 15M flat with all but zero drop whilst using the removable barrel and is near silent (yes those ranges are with the stock spring). With the stock spring my blaster is quieter and smoother than my out of the box AT.
Ontop of the performance increase, I havent had a single jammed or chomped dart since drilling the hole and lubing the inside of the bolt and barrel with light oil (I have even put the odd munted dart through it too, my dog loves darts and my wife hates them, lol). The effective accurate range of streamines has increased too (I think lubing the barrel so its actually useable without wiping off all the darts speed has helped on this front also).
In its current state, it is not quite a true just change the parts over kit, but for the miniscule amount of tweaking necessary to sort it out, I now think its worth every penny.
In its stock form, I thought the blaster was pointless and it just sat on the shelf whilst I was fiddling with my Mavs. Now, I love it, and nearly bought another Recon, which I would put another kit into and put the OMW spring in it so I have a powerful one and a stealth one.
