That seems like a pretty smart idea. It would be good for all of those blasters that you need a pipe cutter for.

I normally use a flat-head screwdriver and a hammer to chisel the AR out, saves cutting it in half, and generally gives a clean result. This in a drill chuck would be the best, though.

Yea the screw driver method before. It works well.

I did have a drill bit welded onto a piece of rod but it went MIA when I moved house

a 12-13mm spade headed drill bit works BRILLAINT. Usually sparkies and chippies use them for long thing holes through timber frames (i am a chippy). They are needle point sharp and the edges are angles and they do a GREAT job drilling the ARs out. I used mine last night for my Stampede SMG mod and can't believe i didnt use it earlier!

Really just splurge the ~$7 and buy a suitably sized drill bit. It will make your life far easier.

I have to agree, I ONLY use a 12mm Spade head to remove AR's.

I haev seen youtube videos with them being use they seem to work well, you have to put it into a drill then dill then drill the AR's out. but you can make one of them yourself its not that hard.

I have always used a long enough piece of 1/4 inch brass tubing.
It works great and if I plan on making a straw like mod the hole is a perfect fit, plus I can center it from the dart peg.
