------------------ Competition Scoring & Ladder System --------------
1. Ladder system will be announced on 11th June 12AM AEST. Most likely we will be using the final four system, each team plays in one pool and plays each other once. The top 4 teams proceed to a semi final and then FINAL match.
2. If there is an excessive amount of teams joining before the cut off date, we will use a multiple pool system ie POOL A and POOL B with two fields on the day and two managing referees. The top teams from each pool converse into a single pool where the outcome is decided.
------------------ Competition Ruleset (General) ------------------
Timelimits: Each Match is set to 6 Minutes PlayTime (Or First team to score 5 round points)
Stoppages: Playtime is counted as active match time, all stoppages, injuries, reload periods are not counted towards match time.
Referees: One Official Minimum will be official each match.
Gametype: Elimination/Duel
Reload Periods: One Reload period of 1 Minute 30 Seconds will be selected by the referee at approx half way (3 minutes) through the match (or first team to reach 3 points)
Scoring: A point is scored for each time a team eliminates the opposing team.
Two Points can be scored for eliminating the opposing team if it is done within 15 seconds from the whistle being blown for that round.
0 Points are scored if the teams deadlock after 1 Minute of play in a single round and match is reset to a new round.
Darts: Darts are fully supplied and no third party darts of any standard are to be introduced into the game play. Doing so will result in your team being removed from the competition and entry fees will not be refunded.
Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes cheating the chronograph system setup to bypass the range test. Manipulation of the game whether known or unknown will result in removal from the competition at an officials discretion.
------------- Field Specifications -----------
Field layout/layouts will be released 3 days before the event start for teams wishing to setup strats / tactics. LINK TBA
--------------- Playing Rules ---------
1. All hits to the body count including guns.
2. If you are hit you called hit you are to take the hit *Penalties apply*
3. When hit player is to place hand on hand immediately and move back to starting position. *Penalties Apply*
4. No reloading when you are "dead"
5. Eye Protection is mandatory. No Sunglasses or prescription glasses.
6. If a double kill occurs, both players are to take a hit.
7. No Melee weapons
8. No Dead man talking (Don't talk to your team mate when your dead) *Penalties apply*

10. Players must quickly assemble to the start points after a round ends. If players are slow they may be penalised. Darts can only be picked up during reload periods,
------------------ Spectator rules --------------
1. No firing blasters anywhere other than during game play. There are neighbors close and I respect them. There are also cars passing by approx 25M from the edge of the play field.
2. Don't bring your air blasters or high powered blasters AT ALL. Anyone spotted with these will be sent home. We don't care who you are we won't tolerate them even being used. It's simple if you bring them you intend to test them and we don't want to hear it. We are playing in a public area so restrictions are in place for a reason.
3. Be sensible. We encourage everyone to bring a chair, and have a chat to new players and meet new people. You can do that without being stupid.
4. All spectators/parents watching must be wearing protective glasses at the bare minimum sunglasses. We allow sunglasses for spectators as generally by then the velocity of a dart is minimal (20-30FPS)
-------------------- Referee System ----------------
Standard System in use
1. Referees are to enforce all playing rules and ensure a fair game is played.
2. Breaking standard play rules will mean your team will be penalized. Penalties can be given during any period of the match and will involve a round reset (with a point being given to the affected team)
3. Player send offs, or removal of players from the competition is at the referees discretion.
4. Long Whistle to start match, 2 short for stoppages and 1 Short, 1 Long for full time.

If you have any suggestions or would like to help with organization of the event on the day please let us know. Looking for one or two Referees and people to manage scoring etc
