Nerf scout mod Empty Nerf scout mod

Post  tacticalnerfer Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:09 am

I haven't really seen any mod guides for the Nerf scout on Oznerf. So I am going to do my own. This is my first mod guide so any feedback would be appreciated.

    First of you need:
    Nerf scout mod CJymQTW
    a battery drill(not pictured)
    or a drill press(not pictured)

    Then you need:
    Nerf scout mod 2hTeZZi

So, take out all the screws on the slide, and the remove the slide.
    There is 3 hidden screws.

    Here:
    Nerf scout mod QPPPc3u

    Here:
    Nerf scout mod TZJ6ef0

    And here:
    Nerf scout mod Si1YZXn

So once you take out all the screws(12 all up),you may need to use the smaller screwdriver for some, remove the outer shell. It should look like this:
    Nerf scout mod 36Cd8lV

    A spring, a catch, a catch spring
a trigger, a trigger spring, a slide spring(up in the top right hand corner), and the plunger tube assembly. Take out the plunger tube assembly and slide them apart. Don't touch anything apart from the plunger tube assembly if you aren't going to paint your blaster.

It should look like this when pulled apart:
    Nerf scout mod Z8eNonW

Now, grab the part with the black rubber ring(the O-ring)and get a flat head screwdriver and pry it off. Now put the plunger (other part) to the side. Now take the barrel to your drilling machine (drill press or battery drill) and set it up.

    It should look like this:
    Nerf scout mod BqHZQdr

Now drill SLOWLY and CAREFULLY through the assembly until a plastic rod/stick falls out, along with some other junk. This is called the air restrictor and the dart peg. It limits range and power from your blaster. So it needs to go. Once all the junk has fallen out, and you can see straight through, slide your O-ring back on in the same place that it was, and assemble the blaster and screw your blaster back together.

    It should look like this:
    Nerf scout mod 7XXWq2f

    Hope you enjoyed this.
