    Hi everyone,

Can anyone help? Since everyone seems to have a nite finder I went out and bought one today, to replace my dea maverick as my sidearm, I went to pull out the A/R but found that the barrel and the plunger tube are glued together.

How do I get this glue off?

After that its pretty straightforward. That glued barrel is stumping me though. how does everyone get it apart? I don't really want to saw it.

Well, mine have never been glued before so that must be a newer NF. I would suggest grabbing a pair of pliers and twisting until it comes apart. Or better yet, replace the barrel completely.

Yeh, the pliers should work. Just grab the piece closest to the plunger tube and twist... hard.

Go around the seam with a pipe cutter. or dunk it in hot water to loosen the glue.

i also got a NF yesterday and when i opened it up and it was glued.

i think nerf is taking some action against modding.

@steadyon: it says "TO AVOID INJURY do not modify darts or dart blasters" basically "do whatever the fuck you want just dont come running when you shoot your eye out"
