Adelaide Nerf War - 1pm - 7ishpm April 30th 2011- Stradbroke primary

Date and time: 1pm- 5pm Saturday April 30th 2011(stay longer of you'd like to stay for dinner at my place)

Location: Stradbroke primary school , but we meet at my house which is just right next to it. You can either park at the school car park or on my driveway. You can even see the moving van in the picture in front of my house on google maps.

It'll mostly be team deathmatch and capture the flag, urban FFP style in the school. There's an oval close by that we can use too. The venue isn't as spacious as Glenunga but it's a nice change nonetheless. Feel free to come earlier if you need to borrow tools/mod/whatever.

Do you think that this will be a good first war for me to go to? if so, what type of guns do you think i should bring as far as range. i just need to know this because i am going to buy a new gun soon and don't know what to get. I'm thinking about a recon because i know how to mod it well and pad the plunger but i'm not sure.

I suggest you borrow a gun for the day and see what other people are using before you buy a gun. See what they use and find a gun you like the feel of.

i have a stampede and ive taken the AR's out, i have a maverick with AR's out and a tek6 spring and i have a BBUMB which i couldn't get open so i just replaced the barrel and sawed off the big orange thing on the front.
and it's still not definite that I'm going but I'm gonna try

Well if the BBUMB shoots far you should be good

yep, with the stuff you've got, FFP will be perfect for your first war.

My BBUMB hits 38 meters flat and 53 meters angled, will that be far enough? and can i use stefans?

If that's correct then you can only use it as a sharpie. and yes you can use stefans but only if they are weighted with 00 fishing sinkers or smaller.

Almost none of my gear is FFP legal, except my pistols, so I'll happily show up anyway, but I'd appreciate it if someone could loan me FFP guns during the day.

Dman, i am down almost all my FFP gear right now, vulcan needs work (or a new plunger arm since they are shearing in half now). Stampede has no spring (20 currently being made). Oh yeh i have a 4b and a mav still.

Hmm, I realise that I won't be ready to do all this by 7 days and therefore will have to postpone it to the SATURDAY 30th April. It's still school holidays I believe, so that shouldn't be a problem with school schedules but please let me know if that is so.

Yay back to Saturdays, so far Sundays have been hell for me, had to miss 2 of them and the 2 i went too i ddint get much action before something happened. I hate Sundays!

I'm pretty peeved about this kid but i might just get a new blaster from toy world or something cause i really want to get to this war.

I may be coming to this one. If I am AJ could you take a look at my BBB because I've done most of your mods and nothins broken but for some reason it isn't up to scratch.

Yeah, I definitely can't make it for a saturday. Looks like I'll have time to make some poorly modded guns after all.

This is just a suggestion, but if you change the date to the friday the day before more people might be able to make it.

Not everyone has the day off on Sunday either. This really is a non win situation as there is no one day or time that will ever suit every person no matter what.

Curse this, where's a time travel machine when you need it most.

There's one in my back-yard, but it needs a new quantum extrapolator and the tachyon core needs a bit of re-juicing. It's just one of thosae things. The war is on a set day, if you can't make it, you can't go. Come to the next war, hence, see you all whenever that is.
