Re-kindled an old love
Hey guys, just the other day I was wandering around K-mart and I walked into the Nerf Aisle, 15 mins later and I was at the checkout with a Longstrike and 2 Mavericks. Bringing back my childhood for a few laughs and I'm already glad of my purchases, just thought I would finally sign up after going through the forums for a few days and say hello.

This isn't as creepy as it sounds, it's actually part of the forum rules.
Also, if you're a melbournite, shootcha later!

Re: Re-kindled an old love
Cheers guys, got it all updated... Bond, my favourite.
To be honest I have no idea, my local (south Geelong) has like 4 in stock $45 a pop, picking up a Stampede tonight again $45, not bad prices for decent hardware.
My housemates ambushed me last night haha, we're all getting back into nerf it seems and work is cool with me having a Maverick as long as the darts aren't scattered everywhere (OHS issues down the line anyone)

NOO! Well I guess Kardinia Park isn't that bad for every now and then. I came down to the Adventure Park last school holidays as well. Anyways, welcome to the forums!

Careful what you say. I used to go to Kardinia College when I was younger. Living in Geelong and having a religion other than the Cats is like living in England and being on the wrong side of the Catholic/Protestant thing during the whole back and forth changover of rulers. As in, they will hang you. Seriously. They're crazy down that way.

Hey, Welcome aboard.
Nice choice with the Stampede and Longshot!! Just thought I'd let you know that I sell brass breeches for longshot's and can also supply battery upgrade and charger for the Stampede.
Happy Nerfing/Modding.

Re: Re-kindled an old love
Actually Clunk I might just have to take you up on those offers, I would definately like to mod my Longshot with a brass breech.
I also went shopping on the weekend and couldnt find those TrustFire batteries that seem to be the norm for stampede, so I guess I could use the offer.
Whilst we are on the discussion, does anyone deal with black tactical on those V2 longshot springs, just hoping for a local source before ordering online. Just asking for a quick reply before I get the time to search the Forums.

Silent Scope is selling the BTV2 springs, and is waiting on stock to arrive. Failing that, I do a BT order every few weeks or so.
Let me know if you're keen for a brass breech/batteries/charger. I'm waiting on some brass to finish off a couple of breeches, and also on a delivery of batteries/charger. ETA 1 to 2 weeks. Send me a PM if you like.
Cheers,

I'm getting a stampede commission off Clunk, with some pretty sweet add-ons. Take a look once it's done in, he does some pretty good mods that get around 85 feet in range. Pretty sweet modder, especially his custom longshots.
