Just something that I've been toying with a bit lately.

I've lubed the dart tooth and front end of my recon (basicly anywhere that the dart comes into contact with, including the breech and bolt) with cooking spray, works a treat, no more jams. Simple.

Works great on your faux barrels too, a light coat of cooking spray up the barrel, and instead of the barrel hampering the darts flight as badly, it helps it glide.

My recon currently has the OMW massacre internals but with just the standard nerf spring in it.

mhmh interesting ... So when you added the cooking spray did you rub it into the plastic or just sprayed it on and let it soak in?
And does it have any effect on the darts eg. visible damage to the foam from the grease?

I wont be taking a video, due to the fact that it just looks like a recon firing well, nothing special.

    Just give it a spray.

I have not yet witnessed any negative effects on the plastics of the blaster or the darts foam.

Now that I am running the 6kg spring in my recon again, using it with out the barrel is all but pointless, it shoots the length of any space in my house, and really doesn't seem to be hampered at all by it, infact due to the fact that I am still using stock darts it definitely has a much better range with the barrel on.

Makes sense though, as the barrel is large and the darts can and will tumble into the barrel.
This just makes them slide along the wall and reducing the fiction.
But you already know this I am guessing lol
But is only one of the factors the other being dead space.

But still if the first problem is emulated it does help a lot : )
