Has your plunger rod broken on you?
Well, here is a guide that'll show you how to fix it.
In this tutorial I've used a Zulu x-shot stealth plunger rod but the principle will be the same on most plunger rods.
Your going to need:
First your going to need to cut your rod down to size, this will depend on the size of the plunger rod.
Glue it in place and allow to completely dry.
When it's dry grab your epoxy putty and mix it well.
Be sure to squeeze it into all the gaps.
Allow to dry completely for full strength.
For the final part I melted the plastic just a little bit so that the crack was sealed. You might want your parents to help you with this.
Sand it down so that it's smooth and your ready to go.
This method can be altered to suit different circumstances and different plunger rods such as using fibre glass for really bad breaks or replacing the threaded rod for a nail of two when repairing small plunger rods.
I hope you found this guide useful and remember to all ways reinforce parts before they break.
